We have been informed by the A14 implementation team that The Avenue, which connects Madingley village with the A14, will be partially closed between Monday 20 February 2017 and Thursday 1 March 2018.
The section of road affected runs from the junction with the A14 to the junction with Dry Drayton Road. As a consequence, there will no access either onto the A14 from The Avenue, or from the A14 onto The Avenue. Signed diversions will be in place.
Traffic travelling towards the A14 will be diverted via Dry Drayton Road, Madingley – Madingley Road, Dry Drayton – Park Street – Oakington Road – A14.
Traffic intending to travel onto the Avenue from the A14 will be diverted via A14 – Oakington Road – Park Street – Madingley Road, Dry Drayton – Dry Drayton Road, Madingley.
