The Institute consists of 150 staff supported by a panel of approximately 300 tutors and examiners. It offers around 600 courses a year ranging from day schools to two-year Master's degree courses (the Institute is the admitting body for all of the University's Master of Studies, MSt, programmes) and there are over 6,000 student enrolments per year to a wide range of part-time and short courses. The Institute's activities take place mostly at Madingley Hall (a residential Grade I listed building in eight acres of gardens), which provides facilities for conferences and events and supplies full 'hotel services' for all users, offering 13 meeting rooms and 62 en suite bedrooms.

The Admissions team is responsible for course bookings, applications and matters concerning student admission.

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Admissions Administrator. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently without close supervision. You will have good interpersonal and telephone skills so as to deal in a friendly and effective way with a wide range of people, using tact and discretion. You will ideally have experience of admissions in a Higher Education environment.

The role-holder will assist in the administration of student admission and registration, for both ICE non- matriculated courses and for MSt courses across the University. They play an important role as the 'public face' of the Institute providing a welcoming and efficient admissions and registration service to prospective, new and returning students.
