We will study the causes and effects of a variety of geological disasters including the catastrophic formation of the English Channel, the flooding of the once dry Mediterranean, the volcanic eruption that caused crop failures in Europe, the possible cause of Noah's flood and the giant Norwegian landslide which caused the tsunami that flooded much of eastern Scotland. This is a hands-on course with lots of practical activities and demonstrations.
