As winter turns into spring the behaviour of birds changes, song increases and many species embark on migratory movements – often covering vast distances. You will investigate these changes; including the mystery of migration, the ‘language’ of bird song and the build-up to the breeding season – using pictures, sounds and a field visit. We will also take a closer look at the topic of birds nests and eggs. This course is for anyone interested in birds, wildlife and the countryside.
