Ms Peggy Morgan

Peggy Morgan is a former president of the British Association for the Study of Religions and a former Director of The Religious Experience Research Centre and Chair of The Shap Working Party on World Religions in Education. In both Oxford and Cambridge she has for some years taught courses in continuing education and as a member of the Oxford Theology Faculty tutors undergraduates and masters students in Hinduism, Buddhism and methods in the study of religions. She is a governor of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies and an academic advisor for the Oxford Centre for Buddhist Studies. As a qualified teacher she also contributes to Faculty of Education courses for both teachers and PGCE students. Her publications include Ethical Issues in Six religious Traditions (2nd edition 2007); Get Set for Religious Studies (2006); and Six Religions in The Twenty First Century (2000) and Buddhist Perspective on Jesus in the forthcoming Blackwell’s Companion to Jesus.
