We read literary fiction for entertainment but can we learn anything serious from the experience and, if so, what is it about literary fiction that helps improve the reader's mind? This course explores the cognitive gain from literature by surveying the issue from a philosophical perspective. This course complements Hc1 or can be taken on its own.
