This course is aimed at people with extremely rusty or limited knowledge of French - including absolute beginners. It will appeal to anyone going to France on holiday who would like to communicate better, those who have a personal interest in the language, and those who always thought they couldn't learn a foreign language. The various sessions will be very visual, interactive and practical, and participants should feel entertained and stimulated. You will be taught useful techniques and strategies to sustain your progress after the weekend. The linguistic level required is Beginners; that is, A1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Container

Unless otherwise stated, teaching and assessment for ICE courses are in English. Students whose first language is not English should refer to the Competence in the English Language Policy for further guidance.
