From ancient bacteria to elite human athletes, the need to move has dominated the evolution of life on Earth. In this course we will trace the four-billion-year history of locomotion, and see how the rules of motion explain why life is the way it is. Includes visit to the Museum of Zoology (1km, c.15 mins walk).
