The Undergraduate Advanced Diploma in English Literature is a part-time research-based course which offers students the opportunity to undertake supervised independent study over two academic years, culminating in a dissertation of 10,000-12,000 words on a topic of their devising.



The course fee is £3,600 and can be paid in full on acceptance of a place or in six instalments (credit or debit card only). Instalments will be due on enrolment, and then on

  • 1 February 2017
  • 1 May 2017
  • 1 November 2017
  • 1 February 2018

This course carries credit points under the nationally recognised Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme (CATS). We offer a flexible, part-time route to academic qualification. For further details see the section ' Qualifications and awards'.

Unless otherwise stated, teaching and assessment for ICE courses are in English. Students whose first language is not English should refer to the Competence in the English Language Policy for further guidance.
