Institute of Continuing Education

Bookings for the 2018 programmes will open in December.

The 2017 Summer Programmes were a resounding success with 61 different nationalities represented. A record number of courses were fully booked and extra places had to be found for our newest venture: a Creative Writing Retreat at Madingley Hall. There were some inspirational plenaries, extremely well-received courses, lively ceilidhs and two outstanding concerts. Feedback is still coming in, and is taken into account in the planning of programmes, courses, and plenaries for 2018, beginning in earnest already.

Those new to the programmes and considering attendance in 2018 will find it helpful to look at last year’s course and plenary lists to gain an idea of the scale and scope of our offering.

Our website will be updated over the coming months as the programmes take shape.

Join us next summer and study at one of the world's leading universities. Every July and August our International Summer Programmes offer adults of all ages and backgrounds an intensive learning experience with the opportunity to live in some of Cambridge’s most beautiful Colleges. Over 175 courses and seminars, plus 200 supplementary lectures make up our open-access programmes.
