Certificates and transcripts

Certificate of attendance

You will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance if you fulfil the attendance requirements of your special subject and plenary courses. If you decide to participate in our evaluation process and submit a paper/s, you will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance and a Grade Report detailing your class mark and percentage.

Transcripts and home institution credit

If you would like your home institution to award credit for the Summer School you have attended, they will generally request further information in terms of a transcript from the Summer Schools. Although the University of Cambridge does not produce official transcripts for its programmes and qualifications, the letter produced and stamped as official University documentation constitutes the equivalent of a transcript from the Institute of Continuing Education. It will include the dates and details of the Summer School/s attended, particular courses taken, contact hours for the programme/s, as well as details and percentage grades of any paper/s submitted.

There is a charge for producing this documentation: £25 for the first copy and then a further £5 for each copy thereafter.
