David has a strong commitment to widening participation in Higher Education and for promoting the joy of learning for students of all ages and backgrounds.
David is also passionate about helping students realise their full academic potential by making undergraduate and postgraduate courses, across a range of subjects, accessible and enjoyable. He aims to build confidence and high-level competence in students by providing detailed guidance on how to approach and develop academic writing and thinking skills which are the foundations of such academic study.
He draws upon considerable extensive, and highly successful, experience in teaching History, Politics, Sociology, Education, Economics and Business studies to foundation, undergraduate and post graduate level students in a number of universities.
