I have currently been lecturing at Oxford Brookes University in Biological Anthropology and have recently finished my PhD in Archaeology at the University of Cambridge. My PhD research focused on the morphological structure of trabecular bone. I use high resolution micro-CT scanning to study the three-dimensional structure of trabecular bone in different human populations and mammal species. I aim to illustrate how changes in diet and subsistence can affect loading in the jaw, and how this potentially impacts the development and growth trajectories of the trabecular bone.
