My current research interests include the differential impact of globalisation on agro-industrial value chains across developing countries. I am also working on the interplay between food security and the increasing importance of bio-fuels with a focus on Ethanol. In future, I would like to continue my work on agricultural value chains in developing countries while incorporating concerns surrounding sustainability. In particular, I want to understand the importance of large global firms in the quest to develop sustainable agriculture systems in developing countries and the impact on local communities.
