Dr Rachel Morris is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators and has a Master’s degree in Medical Education. She has been involved in the development and delivery of several educational programmes including the Refugee Doctors Programme at Barts and the London, a Master’s programme in Advanced Clinical Assessment for Nurse Practitioners at Homerton College, Cambridge and a Higher Professional Education programme for newly qualified GPs.
She worked as Assistant Director of GP Studies and then as the Lead for Professionalism at the University of Cambridge, School of Clinical Medicine for 15 years before moving on to concentrate on postgraduate education. She is a practising GP as well as an Executive Coach and Trainer specialising in resilience in the workplace, and is currently Director of Leadership Courses for a National Primary Care Training Company. She is also on the Faculty for the Health Education East of England Primary Care Leadership Collaboratives Programme. She has a particular interest in the teaching of professionalism and resilience in the workplace.
