Kelcy is a Cambridge-based Artist, Researcher, and Associate Lecturer. She is currently writing-up her PhD in Fine Art at the Cambridge School of Art. In recent years, Kelcy has been involved in exhibitions, performances and symposia in Iraq, Poland, Italy, Spain and the UK.
Kelcy became an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2018 and has a passion for experimental and emancipatory learning via creative practice. Her teaching style encompasses ‘slow-working’ methods with the aim of facilitating deeper critical engagement between students and their self-directed, independent / collaborative, creative practices.
Currently, Kelcy teaches time-based media, installation practices, and photography multimedia, to undergraduate students across the disciplines of fine art, graphic design, digital media, interior design, and photography.
