Professor Werner de Saeger

Professor Werner de Saeger is a Belgian jurist and theologian. He specialises in religious orthodoxy and in the intersections between religion and law. Professor de Saeger was educated in both law and theology and has thoroughly studied both modern and ancient languages. He benefits from broad field research experience in varous ultra-orthodox environments both in Europe and the Middle East. Professor de Saeger taught at various University of Oxford colleges from 2013 until 2017. Since 2016, he has taught at PXL University College in Belgium.

Professor de Saeger has advised both government institutions and politicians in Belgium with regards to religious freedom and religious orthodoxy. He regularly speaks for government officials, diplomats and business leaders around Europe on topics related to religion.
