Q. What happens if I do not finish my course?

The bursary awards are intended to encourage those who might not previously have studied at higher level (first degree or above) to gain experience of academic study within our friendly community of learning. Our students are exposed to leading Cambridge lecturers and are supported by the Institute's experts in adult part-time learning. We are proud that many students thrive in this environment and achieve their learning goals. It is also true that for a variety of reasons, some students are unable to finish their courses. We do not impose penalties in these circumstances as we know that adult learners may often have conflicting demands on their time and resources.
