Alongside our Winter Festival courses, we have also launched a new series of over 30 talks, showcasing the variety of subjects on offer here at the University, and covering the latest research, global current affairs and a range of other topics.

From Monday 18 January, talks will go live at 09:00 (GMT) at the rate of 3 per day. You can listen to them at any time during this period.

Bookings are open until Wednesday 10 February.

Access to this series of talks costs £50 and content will remain accessible until Wednesday 24 February.

Requirements

Who can book?

Our talks as part of the Virtual Winter Festival of Learning are open to students aged 18-80+. Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18. You will be asked to provide your date of birth during the booking process. These talks are delivered at approximately first-year undergraduate level.

Talks tickets cannot be transferred to other people.

Technical requirements:

All of our talks will be delivered via our website.

You will need to have access to:

- the internet via a computer, laptop, tablet or other smart device

- speakers or headphones in order to hear the pre-recorded material 

Please note that all talks have subtitles enabled as a standard.
