Institute of Continuing Education (ICE)

This summer we invited a global audience to join us for our Virtual Summer Festival of Learning. The festival featured a range of remote events such as webinars, taster talks, free open talks and week-long courses as well as links to Cambridge highlights. Teaching was delivered by Cambridge academics and other invited experts.

A series of free open talks is still available (until 7 August) to anyone who registers an interest. These pre-recorded open talks highlight the work and ideas of some of our leading academics and have been released on weekdays throughout the Festival.

Students opting for a more in-depth experience were able to book places on courses for a fee. Applications have now closed for this year’s Summer Festival. Delivery of these courses has included a variety of live webinars, recorded lectures, and forum discussions. We also offered a taste of Cambridge in the summer with links to virtual tours and other interesting features.

Students aged 16-18 participated in our Virtual Pre-University Summer programme.

Please use the form below to register your interest for future Festivals of Learning and to receive regular updates as well as the link for the free open talks.

Thank you to all those of you who were able to for join us this Summer from the comfort of your own home!
