Institute of Continuing Education

A limited number of bursaries are available to successful applicants to an ICE Undergraduate Certificate or Diploma course for the academic year 2018/19.

  • First-time Students Bursary (various sums to a maximum of £500)
  • Ivy Rose Hood Bursary (£1,000)
  • Lifelong Learning Bursary for study in the Sciences (£1,500)
  • Lifelong Learning Bursary for study in the Arts and Humanities (£1,500)

They are designed for those who are at least 18 years old, studying credit-bearing courses at university level for the first time and for whom finance is a barrier to part-time study.

Please note that as we normally receive a greater number of applications than we have bursaries available, not all applications may be successful. Those awarded a bursary are eligible to receive only one bursary at a time.

The deadline for bursary applications is Friday 6 July 2018. To apply for a bursary, please provide the following information. We will assess your application against the eligibility criteria and let you know the outcome by the end of July.

Please note that your bursary application cannot be considered until you have also completed a course application. If you have any questions please contact the Admissions team on ice.admissions@ice.cam.ac.uk or +44 (0)1223 746262.
