Academic misconduct, broadly speaking, is any action which gains, attempts to gain, or assists others in gaining or attempting to gain unfair academic advantage. Registered students are expected to be familiar with guidance on academic misconduct, including plagiarism.

If you are a student on an award-bearing course, you must read and abide by our plagiarism policy.

It is possible to pay for some courses offered by the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) by bank transfer or company invoice. Where this option is available, it will be made clear in the course materials and on the online payment page.

If you are paying for your course via funding from a third party, there are a number of things you should bear in mind before you apply.

If you are studying on an award-bearing course at ICE, you are expected to take an active part in your course. This includes attending classes, contributing to class work and handing in work for assessment to provide evidence of your learning.

Our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) allows you to study and learn online, access learning resources, and interact with your tutor and fellow students.
