Institute of Continuing Education (ICE)

Each University of Cambridge qualification offered by ICE carries a specified number of credit points that are nationally recognised within the UK's Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme (CATS).

ICE is committed to excellence in adult and part-time education and to facilitating an open and inclusive academic learning environment and, therefore, students are asked to adhere to the Institute’s Student Charter. You are expected to take full advantage of the facilities, teaching, supervision

Many of our part-time courses lead to University of Cambridge qualifications at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

If you've completed a course with ICE but have lost your certificate or credit transcript, or require another copy, you can request another copy.

ICE offers a wide-range of part-time courses and qualifications which are University of Cambridge awards.

These procedures apply to all students taking a University of Cambridge award with the Institute of Continuing Education. 

ICE aims to handle complaints in a way which is sympathetic and fair and which encourages informal early resolution.

Disciplinary proceedings may be brought against a student or former student who is suspected of having acted or behaved in a manner which unreasonably interferes with the University of Cambridge’s Rules of B
