Institute of Continuing Education (ICE)

Before you apply for a Undergraduate or Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma there are a number of things you should consider.

Applying to start an MSt course, Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma course involves six key stages, from choosing your course through to confirmation of admission.

It is of utmost importance for the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education to ensure that the wellbeing of students and staff are prioritised throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

All teaching and assessment on ICE's undergraduate and postgraduate-level programmes are in English. As a student, you should able to read, write and speak English fluently.

ICE is committed to excellence in adult and part-time education and to facilitating an open and inclusive academic learning environment and, therefore, students are asked to adhere to the Institute’s Student Charter. You are expected to take full advantage of the facilities, teaching, supervision

ICE offers a wide-range of part-time courses and qualifications which are University of Cambridge awards.

The Student Handbook brings together a range of information which you should refer to during your studies with ICE.

All students enrolled on an award-bearing course are required to complete Student Registration on an annual basis. This is to make sure that the information held on your student record is correct: It is not a way of registering for, or applying for, a course of study. The Student Registration Exercise must be completed even if you have studied with us before.
