New - Virtual Festivals of Learning

Following on from the success of our Virtual Summer Festival of Learning, we’re delighted to announce that bookings are now open for our first ever Virtual Winter Festival of Learning: 18-29 January 2021.

We would like to encourage Universities and Institutions to let their students know about this opportunity to expand their knowledge in and around their own studies.

An affordable, short Festival course offers the option to gain a different perspective on their existing area of study, or to discover new interests. Courses cost £149 each.

Courses are taught through pre-recorded video sessions and a dedicated Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and students will also have access to a range of academic resources and can engage with Course Directors and fellow participants on our online forums.

Another very affordable option is for students to buy an Talks ticket: £50 gives access to over 30 specialist talks, showcasing the variety of subjects on offer here at the University, and covering the latest research, global current affairs and a range of other topics. Anyone signing up for one or more courses gets free access to the talks.

Comments from one of our Institutional partners:

"Thank you again for all you have done over the years. It has been a delight to work with you. I wish you every success in keeping the programme in existence and returning it to "normal" as soon as this virus is behind us. Your programme is a boon to higher education and a godsend for the students we have at Westchester Community College."
John FM Flynn, PhD, Director, Cambridge Summer Honors Programme
