Carolyn Crooks

Carolyn is Head of Information Management for Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH). She is responsible for a team of over 40 people and directly manages all the reporting functions, internal and external, of CUH. Carolyn held the role of Senior Team Leader within central informatics from 2012 and in 2017 was formerly appointed as Head of Information Management for the trust having deputised into the position for two years. She has 18 years of experience as both a senior manager and a data analyst (including research data curation) within the NHS, working with executive and divisional / clinical directors to identify, develop and refine areas of potential improvement and change.

 

Alumna of cohort one of the NHS Digital Academy, Carolyn has an MSc in Digital Health Leadership from Imperial College, studying barriers to implementation of large scale population health initiatives.
