Craig is an international security and technology researcher. He is the author of Crypto Wars: A Political History of Encryption, a contributing author to Next Generation Enterprise Security, and is writing a book on cyber terrorism. He is published in Intelligence & National Security, and Internet Histories journals. He has extensive experience in the cyber security industry, including as Chief Technology Officer of DXC Security, the then largest global security services provider. He holds a PhD in cyber security and history from Royal Holloway, and master’s degrees in both international security and cyber security. He studies mandarin at King’s College, and regularly speaks at conferences, most recently as the closing keynote at the UK Counter Terror Expo. He is a guest lecturer at Oxford, Imperial and Royal Holloway, London, and sits on the Offensive Cyber Working Group's College of Experts.
