Dr Joe Mungo Reed is the author of three novels: We Begin our Ascent (2018), Hammer (2022), and Terrestrial History (2025). His short stories have been published in Esquire, Corriere della Sera and the Evening Standard. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University and a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester.
