A passionate researcher, eclectic inventor and UX design strategist, Dr. Zallio has developed an extensive track record to understand people’s needs and incorporating complex technical requirements into prototypes with the goal to improve people's lives through inclusive futuristic solutions.
• Investigation of UX metrics to improve people’s life in mobility and transportation and in the built environment.
• Research of UX facilitators to enhance interaction of people with different abilities with technological products and services.
• Prototype inclusive, equitable futuristic solutions to tackle accessibility challenges in mobility and transportation and in the built environment.
Matteo is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie senior research fellow at University of Cambridge, Inclusive Design Group, working on an international EU-funded project with IWBI (International Well Building Institute) to develop accessibility and inclusivity metrics to improve life within smart environments and works as a UX Design consultant.

Expert member at the NSAI – National Standards Authority of Ireland for the standard ISO TC 215 WG2 “Health informatics” and ISO TC 314 “Ageing societies”
