Dr Nick Bradley is the author of The Cat and The City, which follows the adventures of a stray cat in Tokyo. It was a BBC Radio 2 Book Club pick and longlisted for the Dublin Literary Award. It also garnered praise from David Mitchell, author of Cloud Atlas. Nick gained a BA in English Literature from the University of Liverpool before pursuing a master’s in English Literature at Oxford, writing his thesis on Chaucer, before moving to Japan to spend a decade working for Japanese organizations. He returned from Tokyo to gain an MA and a PhD from UEA in Creative and Critical Writing. His PhD research focussed on the figure of the cat in Japanese literature. He lives in Norwich with his cats, Rosie & Weasel.
