What I can help with:
As a dissertation supervisor I can help with the development of a professional TV pilot and series bible that is market ready. Identifying a story engine that can sustain multiple hours of storytelling. Developing character arcs suitable to long form narrative. Keeping your pages lean, your story propulsive and your language relevant to the piece. Folding in theme and answering the ‘why now’ question.
What I’m supervising now:
Sumerah has taught Screenwriting at both MetFilm School and the National Film & Television School, as well as mentoring screenwriters for Talent Manager. She began supervising her first dissertation project for ICE in 2023.
