I am an educator and researcher dedicated to fostering independent learning and creative teaching practices. With a passion for making education an engaging and transformative process, I currently teach Business Management modules at the International Training and Cooperation Institute of East Asia University of Technology. My teaching philosophy focus on students as active participants, blending interactive activities with lectures to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth.
My teaching style incorporates creative assignments like role-playing scenarios, problem-solving challenges, and reflective journaling, empowering students to think critically and apply their knowledge. I also integrate asynchronous resources such as pre-recorded videos and discussion forums for flexibility, complemented by live Q&A sessions and personalised feedback to support individual development.
Previously, I served as a Business Lecturer at Results Consortium College in England and as an associate lecturer at the University of Northampton, where I taught MA Education students and focused on cultivating independent learning skills in higher education. My academic journey includes a Master's in Education from the University of Northampton (UK), where I graduated with Distinction, and a Master's in Corporate Finance and Management Control from the University of Toulon (France). These qualifications underpin my interdisciplinary expertise in education, corporate finance, and leadership.
As a researcher, I explore themes such as independent learning, intercultural communication, and career guidance—topics I have presented at conferences and published in book sections. My contributions include co-authoring chapters and conference papers that address critical challenges in these areas. I am honored to have received the SIG Families and Communities Award for outstanding contributions to educational research from the “Education for a better world- 2023 MA Education conference” of University of Northampton.
Before transitioning to academia, I gained extensive leadership experience as a Business Director and Manager in multinational companies. These roles provided practical insights into corporate strategy, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration, which now enrich both my teaching and research.
Beyond my academic and teaching roles, I have actively participated in international conferences as an organiser, presenter, and award judge. One of the international conferences which I was in the organising committee team is the KR 2024- 21st International Conference on Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning.
