Apprenticeship Administration Manager (Full time, 2 Year Fixed-term)
Salary: £29,799 – £38,833
The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) delivers high quality and distinctive educational programmes for adult learners, predominantly studying on a part-time basis, for either personal enrichment or professional development. ICE aims to ensure that the expertise and resources of the University of Cambridge are made available to all students, irrespective of their previous educational achievements.
We wish to appoint an Apprenticeship Administration Manager to manage the University's apprenticeship- relevant relationships with employers, Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA) and other stakeholders such as End Point Assessors, Education and Skills Funding Agency (EFSA), Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC).
Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Student Recruitment, the post holder will also provide expert advice and guidance across the University of Cambridge to University Departments, Colleges and apprenticeships course directors and administrators on creating apprenticeship provision and meeting the main requirements (e.g. academic quality assurance, financial governance). They will play a key role in developing ICE's business model around the postgraduate apprenticeship agenda.
The Apprenticeship Administration Manager will also be a key advocate for apprentices across the Collegiate University.
The successful candidate will work to identify apprenticeship opportunities and manage the programme of postgraduate apprenticeships provided, supporting programme development, planning and quality assurance processes, learner support and financial management.
The successful candidate will have excellent project management and organisational skills with strong research and data analysis skills. S/he will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop collaborative working relationships. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
