A weekend on Italian language, literature and culture, offering those with a fair or good knowledge of Italian the opportunity not only to practise and improve their language skills, but also to read, translate and discuss a selection of work by Italian writers and to watch original audio-visual material related to the topic of the course. As these weekends will be conducted predominantly in Italian, you are expected to have acquired a level of linguistic competence ranging from B1/B2 to C1, as described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Advanced Italian is the start of a series of courses which collectively comprise a ‘cultural grand tour.’
