10:00 Session 1: Introduction of the participants/ ice-breaker/ presentation of the course “A day in France” / assessment of skills and language practice/ strategy & techniques of communication (oral and written comprehension based on printed and audio-visual material)

11:45 Session 2: Where to go? / What to do? / What to say? General presentation of France / various regions such as Brittany, Normandy, Provence or the Alps / landscapes/ climates/ specialties (oral and written comprehension & oral expression based on printed and visual material)
13:00 Lunch
14:00 Session 3: Let’s plan a day trip. Discovery of the “Côte d’Opale”: a few gems: Wyssant/ Le Touquet/ Les Deux Caps/ Desvres. Practical tips / useful vocabulary & expressions about travel/ car/ food/ shopping/ asking for directions/ solving minor problems through role-play, word games, exercises. (oral and written comprehension & oral expression)

15:30 Session 4: What did we learn about France today? About the use of the French language? / Let’s talk about a place (description, sightseeing, local specialties)/ Conclusion and feedback. (oral expression)
