The Georgian house

This course is aimed to give you a greater understanding of the 18th century house in England and to develop your observation and understanding. We will look at the development of classical styles in the Palladian movement and the appearance of the villa. Examples of the work of Robert Adam and his contemporaries will be covered as will the smaller Georgian house. There will be a session on living in the Georgian house. This promises to be a lively course with lots of interaction.
