Institute of Continuing Education (ICE)

 

Welcome to the Institute of Continuing Education! We would like to offer you the opportunity to meet and interact with your teachers, fellow learners and support staff in the picturesque surroundings of Madingley Hall.

Join us at at 14.00 on Saturday 27th September in-person at Madingley Hall for afternoon tea in our grand dining hall. In addition to socialising with other members of your student cohort, you will have an opportunity to speak with our support teams about our teaching resources and support processes and learn more about our history, ethos and other upcoming events.

Weather permitting, we will also have a limited number of spaces to run garden tours from 15.30. These will be bookable upon arrival.

Accessibility Requirements:

Upon registering to attend the event, you logged dietary and accessibility requirements for yourself and any requested carers and +1s. There will be additional quiet spaces available on request.

Car Parking:

There will be parking available onsite during the event. We anticipate a high volume of traffic so please follow the signage and directions from our volunteer support staff on arrival.

Photography:

We will have a photographer taking pictures during the event and our social media team will be recording short student interviews throughout the day. We will be operating a red lanyard policy for those who do not wish to be photographed or recorded. These will be available at the registration desk upon your arrival.

Student ID Card Collection:

You may already have received your University ID card from our academic support teams. If not, you will have the option to collect this from us in-person, please make sure to bring one of the following forms of ID below:

  • UK Driving License
  • Passport
  • EU ID Card
  • Birth Certificate accompanied by a photo ID

Afternoon Tea:

The afternoon tea provided will be a light mixture of savoury sandwiches, scones and sweet cakes.
