My particular interest is in the field of teaching and supporting student doctors in clinical medicine and in the workplace. I also have an interest in teaching clinical communication skills and supporting students and more junior medical staff in developing the clinical reasoning skills.
As time goes on, I spend increasing amounts of time supporting medical educators (nearly all of whom are former graduates of the PG Cert) to develop their own facilitation skills and I hope to introduce pragmatic and practical solutions to teaching undergraduates and graduates based on experience as well as the medical education literature.
