Dear Students (Current and Prospective), Alumni and Supporters,
Amongst the profound and ongoing challenges of the pandemic, it was a privilege for the Institute to welcome a global, vibrant and strongly growing intake of life-wide students – across more than 7,500 course enrolments - on our award-bearing programmes and short courses in the 2020-21 academic year.
The current 2021-22 session will see student cohorts forming around courses ranging from Aztec Empires to Data Science and Choral Music to Practical Laboratory Skills. With dozens of courses commencing in early 2022 and across the spring and summer, we hope you will consider joining one of our communities of learning.
Looking ahead to 2022-23, we plan to offer over 60 award-bearing courses which, through adults from all walks of life learning together, result in a University of Cambridge qualification. Applications are now open for these courses including a new Master of Studies in the History of Art and Visual Culture, a new open-entry undergraduate certificate in entrepreneurial Venture Creation and an innovative Pre-Medical Studies HE Certificate which aspires to enable mature students to apply to study to become a doctor at one of the East of England’s medical schools.
Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your learning plans and aspirations. Whether you plan to study a discipline for the first time or to deepen your expertise, for personal enrichment or professional development, we hope to have an online or in-person taught programme which aligns to your continuing education goals.
We look forward to learning alongside you in Cambridge or online in 2022.
Sincerely,
Jim Gazzard
Director of Continuing Education
