Vivien Heilbron trained as an actress at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. After leaving she went straight into the theatre where she has worked most of her life. She was nominated for an Emmy for her role as Rachel in the BBC’s serialisation of “The Moonstone” and has played many leading parts on television. She played Queen Elizabeth opposite Sir Derek Jacobi in “Richard III”. Shakespeare is her passion and teaching students how to enjoy speaking his language is a priority in her classes and workshops. She is an Honorary Fellow of the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon–Avon.
I prepare students for LAMDA examinations and I regularly prepare and present students for LAMDA examinations at many levels. At LAMDA’s request I prepared a workshop paper for other examiners to follow.
