Companies build international business strategy by identifying and enforcing their ownership, locational, and internalisation advantages. If you have been, are planning to be, or are currently, closely involved in running a company, do you know that company’s advantages? With emerging technologies so crucial to future business success, how can companies plan for an ever-changing business environment? This foundation course focuses on exploring how businesses that want to become international can devise strategies for new markets. You will gain a critical understanding of how companies enhance their specific competitive advantages, a knowledge of how they link locational advantages to create and enhance value, and a critical understanding of how they should deal with market failures.
