Printed and flexible electronics are changing the world we live in; from OLED displays, flexible solar cells and sensors for personalised medicine, the age of the 'internet of things' is fast approaching. This course will cover key discoveries in the history of electronics and explore the state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing procedures that are being utilised to create the future of electronics. Includes a visit to the Department of Engineering, West Cambridge Site (2.2km, c.30 mins walk, or c.20mins bus/walk).
