For too long Africa has been plagued with connotations of disease, poverty and war. By using the framework of technology, the exciting and diverse innovations taking place across this richly diverse continent are revealed. A truer understanding of Africa is therefore achieved. We invite you to join this lively short course that unravels the part that technology played in Africa's painful colonial past, before delving into the fascinating roles that social media, mobile money as well as new cinematic techniques and genres now play in modern day life.
