This course introduces students to the major concepts and debates on aggregative economic systems, including national economies and international economic relations. It centres on main topics in macroeconomics: aggregate demand and supply management, economic growth, economic fluctuations and cycles, and the role for government intervention. Students will be required to undertake short assignments during the course.
