A surprising number of Shakespeare's plays end in ways that can seem less than satisfactory. This course investigates ten of them - The Taming of the Shrew, Love's Labour's Lost, Twelfth Night, Troilus and Cressida, Measure for Measure, All's Well that Ends Well, King Lear, Timon of Athens, The Winter's Tale, and The Tempest - to consider what happens, or doesn't, and why. This is a 10 session course and must be taken with W410Am03 in week 4.
