A special concert to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of ‘Capability’ Brown, England’s ‘Shakespeare of Gardening’. Francesca Barritt (violin), Joy Lisney (cello) and Matthew Schellhorn (piano) perform music by Mozart, Haydn, Linley, Boyce and Jeremy Thurlow.

Programme

  • Boyce (arr. Watts): Ode for the New Year
  • Mozart: (Trio) Sonata in F major, K.13
  • Linley (arr. Watts): Overture - Lyric Ode on the Witches, Fairies and Aerial Beings of Shakespeare
  • Thurlow: Steeples Eclipse
  • Haydn: Piano Trio in E major, Hob. XV:28

There will be an interval of 15 minutes.

Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions for over 60s and under 18s).
