Creative writing tutor Derek Niemann will be in conversation with fellow nature writer Nic Wilson about her debut book, Land Beneath the Waves: Nature, Place and Chronic Illness in this free Zoom event on Thursday 26 June, 7-8pm, GMT.
Nic, who studied on ICE’s Diploma in Creative Writing: Advanced Non-Fiction and who writes for the Guardian’s Country Diary, will be talking about her work and the experience of getting published.
With the natural world facing more threats than ever before, Land Beneath the Waves aims to inspire us to develop a meaningful bond with our local natural spaces and landscapes, illuminating a hopeful path towards a better future for human and non-human life.
