Dr Midge Gillies was in conversation with memoirist, nature writer and book coach Lulah Ellender in this Zoom event on 13 March, 7-8pm, GMT.
"Lulah’s first book, Elisabeth’s Lists, was published by Granta in 2018. It was one of The Spectator’s Books of the Year and described as ‘hauntingly beautiful’ by the Guardian.
This was followed by a memoir, Grounding: Finding home in a garden, also published by Granta and described by The Observer as a ‘literary hymn to gardening’.
Her most recent publication, Nature’s Calendar, is a collaborative nature book based on the Japanese microseason calendar. In 72 essays different authors track the changes observed around them in the natural world, five days at a time."
