Bookings are now open - see below for details.
Programme of events
In this workshop we will discuss memories and how we use them in writing – whether fiction or non-fiction. We will look at the ways in which memories – our own and other people’s - can spark vivid descriptions and enticing stories. We will also discuss what to do when memories don’t match up with the perceived truth.
This workshop will give you some practical, emotional and structural tips for getting started on a novel and assessing whether your idea might be suitable for a story.
Radio drama combines the intimacy of books and theatre with the wide vistas of film and TV. From futuristic internal monologue to gentle period drama, the radio dramatist can - literally - go anywhere. This workshop offers advice and practical tips on getting your script radio-ready.
