Institute of Continuing Education (ICE)
Joanne Limburg, tutor in creative writing at ICE and author of Letters To My Weird Sisters, will be talking to her colleague Alycia Pirmohamed about Alycia’s debut collection, Another Way to Split Water. Described by The Scotsman as poems “for a global age, where we move between cultures with apparent ease and might have several lands – or none – which we call home,” Another Way to Split Water is a lyrical exploration of how ancestral memory reforms and transforms throughout generations, through stories told and retold, imagined and reimagined. It is a meditation on womanhood, belonging, faith, intimacy, and the natural world.
Attendees of this event will have the chance to win one of two signed copies of Alycia's debut collection 'Another Way to Split Water'. Read the giveaway terms and conditions here.
